Sangati Launches Project Corona Shield for the street dwellers.
Ensuring Sanitation, Protection and Hygiene for those on street; such as rickshaw pullers, beggars, homeless, aanganwadi workers and migrant labour. unwitting and exposed hosts to the next wave of Corona Virus spread and having no way to protect themselves while they struggle to find food.
The Pack contains Masks, Sanitiser and Soap. The masks are stitched at home by persons with disability and serve as source of small income; sanitiser helps where water is in shortage and soap is most effective defense against Corona
Sangati is also distributing Ration Packs among poor families containing aata, rice, daal, sugar, tea, salt, cooking oil, masale, soap. More than 100 such ration packs have been handed over so far. Sangati is also collaborating with people in other cities to reach out with ration packs.
Distribution is made possible by dedicated members of Group of Eagle Specially Abled Riders, who you would recall, hold the amazing record of covering 3500 kms across country on modified scootys. Hats off to their grit
